On Thursday we walked into the legendary Maida Vale studios in London to do a “live” recording of four songs for the Radio1 show called “The Lock Up Sessions”. It was a really cool experience being that just about every big band in the world has done sessions there (Led Zeppelin, Beatles, Bowie, Joy Division, U2, Coldplay, etc…). We recorded three songs for the radio show: “Let It Burn”, “Veteran” and “My Judgement Day” and one song for the website “Slowdown”. We will be posting all of the info when the show is going to air and stream online. Thanks to our great engineer Miti, who has been recording and producing bands at the BBC studios for over 30 years, for making the session so memorable.
