IGNITE and non-IGNITE news update!

A lot has been going on in the world of IGNITE over the past month. Here is the latest update.

IGNITE has confirmed a local California show at the Glasshouse in Pomona on February 27th with DEATH BY STEREO, TOUCHE AMORE and ROTTING OUT. We are very excited about this show! We have also started confirming festivals in Europe during the Summer. So far the confirmed shows in Europe are:

June 18, Southside Festival- Neuhausen, Germany

June 20, Hurricane Festival- Sheessel, Germany

June 26, Mach1 Festival- Montabour, Germany

June 27, Graspop Metal Meeting- Dessel, Belgium

More shows will be added to this tour and will be updated here and on our myspace page as soon as we have the information!

The non-IGNITE news. Many of you know that Zoli has been filling in on the vocal duties for Pennywise since their longtime singer Jim Lindberg left the band a few months ago. Well, Zoli will be joining Pennywise as their full time frontman! They have some warm-up shows in March on the West Coast then they will head out on a month long European tour starting at the Groezrock Festival in Belgium on April 24th. We are very excited for Zoli and this great opportunity for him to sing in one of the greatest punk bands of all time! Dont worry IGNITE fans, Zoli is not quitting IGNITE and we are not breaking up either, we will continue to write, record and tour with IGNITE as long as our fans want us to continue!

In more non-IGNITE news: NATIONS AFIRE, the band that features Brett and Nik from IGNITE as well as former members of Rise Against and Death By Stereo, have made a line-up change and Nik has taken over vocal duties for NA! NATIONS AFIRE is currently in the rehearsal and recording studios writing songs for their much anticipated debut full-length cd. NA will be playing shows as early as March with the new line-up as well.

Zoli Teglas is Pennywise’s Fill In Vocalist for Upcoming Shows!

The members of PENNYWISE have announced that Zoli Teglas, front man for OC hardcore/punk band IGNITE will be filling in on vocals during the band’s set on the 2009 Smokeout Festival at the San Manuel Amphitheatre in San Bernadino, CA October 24th, as they begin their search for a new singer.

The two day Smokeout Festival will take place on October 23 and 24 and marks the seminal Hermosa Beach punk band’s first major show since Pennywise singer Jim Lindberg and the band parted ways last month after 19 years together.

Pennywise will be playing on a lineup that includes such acts as Slipknot, Deftones, Cypress Hill, Kottonmouth Kings, Bad Brains, Method Man/Red Man, a recently reunited Sublime (performing with their new singer, Rome) and many more.

As a former tour mate and a longtime friend and fan, Pennywise’s Fletcher Dragge says Teglas is a natural choice to help the band out during this transitional period. Dragge explains, “As everybody knows, Jim has left the band and we’re looking for a new singer. For the time being our friend Zoli has agreed to fill in for Jim for a couple shows to avoid having to cancel them while we look for a permanent replacement.”

Teglas is looking forward to playing with Pennywise and their hometown So Cal fans adding, “I’m stoked to be singing these upcoming shows with Pennywise. I’m a huge fan of the band and am super grateful to share the stage with my long time friends Fletcher, Byron, and Randy. “

IGNITE Guitarist Kevin Kilkenny Breaks World Record!

On September 6th, Kevin Kilkenny, one of IGNITE’s full time touring guitar players for the past decade, riding the Cardboard Robot KX500 dirt bike, exited the timed mile at the Bonneville Salt Flats, USA at 130.418 miles per hour. He turned the bike around and ran back across the same stretch of real estate at 132.444 m.p.h. Setting a new record average of 131.431 m.p.h. and raising the AMA National 500cc MPS/P motorcycle speed record nearly ten miles an hour.

Kilkenny was racing against a record set by seven time Baja 1000 winner Steve Hengeveld and F2 Racing. Kilkenny set a new AMA national record, he was the fastest 500cc sit-on bike at the event and the bike he rode, the Cardboard Robot KX500, is the World’s Fastest Dirt Bike.

Finally, after a few attempts in the past we have now been able to lock in a date to play in San Jose, Costa Rica. The show is going to be onÂ October 4thÂ at a venue called Club Capone, the club only holds 450 people so make sure and get yopur tickets early!!!

DVD Update

We are in the process of editingÂ our dvd that we filmed in GermanyÂ this pastÂ April. Today was day two of the editing, we have a few more days to go and then we get into the studio with Cameron Webb to mix the audio portion of the show. So far it looks great and sounds great as well. We are really excited about getting this dvd finished and getting it out to you guys. No release date has been set. We should be announcing a title for it in the next few days. IGNITE

IGNITE Autograph Session at Pfingst Open Air Festival

IGNITE will be signing autographs at their IGNITE/Trashmark merchandise booth at the Pfingst Open Air Festival in Essen, Germany, on Monday May 12th. The autograph session will begin at 4pm and go for 45 minutes. Ignite will be signing picture-cards and anything else you want to bring to the festival. The festival is FREE and a couple other bands playing are the Lemonheads and Born From Pain.

First of all, this tour just keeps getting better! The last few days have been really good topped off with a very sold out show last night in Cologne, Germany at the Essig Fabrik. Over 1500 people crammed into the venue and all the bands had really good sets, especially Death Before Dishonor, who are becomingÂ really popular in Europe everywhere.

FOURÂ really great upcomingÂ things to report about:

1. We are filming a “Live Dvd” at the April 20th show in Leipzig, Germany. So, if you want to be part of Ignite’s history archived onto dvd come out to the show at Werk 2 and be part of the Ignite show.

2. We are very happy to announce that we are playing a free concert in Essen, Germany at an Festival called “Pfingst Open Air” on May 12.

3. We have added one last show to this European tour. we are very happy to announce that we will be playing in Hasselt, Belgium on May 31st at the Musik-O-Droom. This is the first IGNITE headlining clubshow in Belgium in years!!! Tickets will be on sale soon!

4. We are playing an acoustic show on May 25th at the Paul Frank Store in Amsterdam at 8pm. Should be awesome!!!

Yesterday we kicked off this great package tour in Mannheim, Germany. The show was really good….lots of people came out and we are expecting full houses for most of these shows. The band ‘So Far Away’ opened the show Â in Mannheim and we are going to have some other great openingÂ bands as well for some of these dates. Persistence Tour Update

Here is an update from the Persistence Tour over here in Europe. So far all but one of the shows have ben completely sold out. All of these dates have been amazing. In fact, the upcoming show in Dresden has been moved to a bigger venue now because the pre-sales are over 3,000 which is awesome! Thanks to all the Ignite fans who are coming out to these shows. Here is some news for 2008: Ignite has just confirmed a headlining tour in April in Europe with Terror!!! This tour is going to be incredible….we will have details on the other support bands and all of the tour dates very soon.

Europe Tour Finished…dates for August posted!

Well, we are back home from an amazing European Tour! Probably the best headlining European Tour that we have ever done. Some of the highlights from the last 10 days of tour was: an unbelievable show in Saarbrucken, Germany at the Garage…then the sold out show at the Underground in Cologne, Germany…the sold out show in Budapest at A-38….then one of our favorite shows of the whole tour, Vienna playing with AFI. It was the first time we actually played a show with AFI since 1997 at the Whiskey in L.A. Needless to say it was an incredible show at the open-air stage at the Arena…the last show of the tour was aÂ packedÂ show at one of our favorite venues in Germany, the Backstage in Munich. Thanks to Death By Stereo and BURNTHE8TRACK for helping make this tour one of our best ever!

Groezrock & Give It A Name Festivals UK

This past weeked was a very busy weekend for Ignite as we played three great festivals all in the same weekend. Friday we started off in London at the famous Earl’s Court for the GIAN Festival. We joined The Used, HIM and Juliette and the Licks on stage in front of thousands. Really cool show, the Used were really good and seemed to be the crowd favorite of the day. Right after the show was finished we jumped in the bus and headed back through the chunnel to Belgium to join up with DBS and play the Groezrock Festival. This might have been the best European festival line-up that we have ever played….Rise Against, Strung Out, Hatebreed, Terror, Sparta, Tiger Army, MxPx, etc, etc…all in the same day.We had a great time at the festival and on stage. Our tent was absolutely packed when we went on and people were piled on top of each other extending all the way outside the tent area as well. Thanks to all of our Belgian, Dutch and German fans who came out to see us play at Groezrock. So, that takes us to Sunday morning….jump on a plane from Belgium to Glasgow and join back up with the same GIAN line-up as Friday. All in all it was an amazing weekend!!!

Tour back on track after day off.

After having to take a day off yesterday in Bremen, Germany everything is back on track for Hamburg tonite! We were really sorry to disappoint any of our fans yesterday in Bremen when we had to cancel one day of this tour to rest our singer Zoli. We appreciate all of the fansÂ that stayed to watch BurnThe8Track and Death By Stereo. It was a great show by both bands. This weekend is going to be great with the upcoming Give It A Name Festivals in London and Glasgow and the Groezrock Festival in Belgium on Saturday. See everyone there:-)

Berlin was amazing!!!

So far the tour dates with Death By Stereo nd Burnthe8track have been great! The last three nights in Leipzig, Berlin and Hannover were all sold out and super fun! Berlin however was a really special day because during the day we played a special free acoustic concert at the Paul Frank clothing store in Berlin. What a great experience! The place was packed, in fact a lot of people could not get in and had to watch from outside the store. Our friend, Chris LiskÂ at Paul Frank set the whole thing up and we really want to thank him or making it such an amazing day!

The show at SO36 was again great and we really want to thank all our fans for making this tour the best Ignite tour ever. It has been a difficult tour for us because of the health problems that our singer Zoli is having. We are trying our best to make this tour work, after this tour we are probably going to be taking a few months off so Zoli can get his surgery and heal. Thanks for all of the supprt…IGNITE!!!

European Tour Update

Well, the first week of our European tour is done and we are taking a few days off in Leipzig, Germany waiting for Death By Stereo and BurnThe8Track to arrive.

We flew a lot in the past week, 6 flights in 6 days, 5 shows in 4 different countries spanning all across Europe: Portugal to Holland to Finland to Poland….fun, but tiring for sure. The show in Lisbon, Portugal was a perfect warm-up show, a small club, packed with rabid Ignite fans singing along to everything. ThenÂ over to Holland for the Paaspop Festival which was huge and great. It was the first time since 2001 that we graced the stage of Paaspop and it was even better this time. Next morning was up farther to Helsinki where we played the club calledÂ Nosturi that wasÂ crammed with 900 people. Alex our Finnish promoter really took care of us…thanks again! Next day we flew down to Berlin where we were picked up and shuttled over to Poznan, Poland for the first of two Polish shows. Both Warsaw and Poznan were really good….PolandÂ shows haveÂ such amazing energry and enthusiasm. Thanks to everyone who helped with these concerts.

Some of our upcoming shows are pre-seling out and the promoters are possibly moving the shows to bigger venues. Please stay posted for any changes/updates for the venues.

We are off to Europe in just a few days. The tour starts with a few random fly-in shows in Lisbon, Helsinki, a couple shows in Poland and the Paaspop Festival in Holland. Then on April 17 the Ignite/Death By Stereo/BurnThe8Track leg of the tour starts. We are looking forward to all of this! We are going to have the “Our Darkest Days-Limited Tour Edition” cd for sale at these shows. The cd features new artwork, two bonus songs andÂ the “Bleeding” video. This cd is very limited!!! First, let me thank you for your interest in Pacific Wildlife Project and the opportunity to show your support. Second, let me give you some background on Pacific Wildlife Project as it has so deeply impacted my life. My brother and I have been involved with Pacific Wildlife Project since we were teenagers. It inspired him to go into animal sciences, and he is now acting medical director for Pacific Wildlife in addition to being a professor of animal science at the University of Nevada. It inspired me to continue volunteering and to be a community advocate for Pacific Wildlife and the marine life in Orange County. Pacific Wildlife needs help more now than ever. They operate solely on volunteer basis and survive from donations by concerned citizens like you.

Background

The Pacific Wildlife project is a â€œgrass roots” organization incorporated in 1985 by citizens, veterinarians, and biologists who saw a need for community education and expert support in interactions with neighboring wildlife and wild lands. With a commitment to a humane ethic, the Project seeks to help wildlife in a wide range of communities by providing a haven and hospice for injured or displaced wild animals and through the education of and hands-on involvement by the community members to further its conservation and humane goals.

Since its inception, Pacific Wildlife Project has been a leading force in wildlife protection. As one of the only facilities in the area to provide respite for all wild species, our award winning organization has been a primary resource for citizens and agencies.Â The Pelican Paramedic Program is an active rescue effort established to come to the aid of injured and suffering seabirds along the Los Angeles, Orange and San Diego County coastline, with a focus on endangered California brown Pelicans.

Funding Help in 2007

Pacific Wildlife is not funded by any government agency and they rely on private donations and grants in order to continue this much needed community service. They are a grass roots organization staffed by volunteers. Donated services and supplies help keep operating costs low.Â Nearly 100% of donation dollars are committed to direct patient rescue and care costs.

This year has been especially challenging for the birds rescued. During the past months, hundreds of young California brown Pelicans have struggled to survive with scarce food supplies as they arrive from the breeding colonies. The starving birds suffer additional injuries through direct confrontations with competing anglers and their deadly hooks and lines carelessly left behind. These and other seabirds face horrible fates including death, if not rescued and treated. The Pelican Paramedics Project volunteers perform missions of mercy as they locate and rescue these birds in peril and bring them to sanctuary care.

Pacific Wildlifeâ€™s rescue team is the only such organized effort in the region. They are dedicated, trained and capable volunteers. An unprecedented 90% of rescues recover from their injuries and are able to be returned to the wild. Community support is a vital element in the rescue and care program and your donation helps to make the survival of many of these magnificent birds possible.

Pacific Wildlife is respectfully requesting funds in the amounts outlined in the attached budgets. Donated funds would be used for the refurbishment of the distressed caging and emergency infirmary and for support of the Wildlife Care and Pelican Paramedics Program.

Argentina and Brazil

The last four shows of the Latin American Tour were in Argentina and Brazil…you know the places thatÂ are consistentlyÂ 85 degrees, beautiful weather and amazing beaches. We spentÂ three days in Buenos Aires, a couple off days around a show at the venue El Teatrito. Then it was off to Brazil where we had three amazing shows in the cities of Sao Paulo, Curitiba and Santos. Sao Paulo was incredible as we triumphantly returned to the club Hangar 110, where we had an amazing headlining show in 2004. Thanks to all of our friends, new and old that made it out to these great concerts. Special thanks to Cesar from Highlight Sounds for making all of this happen! Next up Pennywise west coast…watch out!!!!

Mexico and Chile

The first two shows of the Latin America Tour are done and it could not have been a better start to the tour. Mexico City was first on Friday at the venue called Piranas Bar. It was a small venue with almost 300 kids crammed inside ready to see Ignite for the first time. Great show, lots of old and new songs with everybody singing along and our roadie Chris Lisk even got in on the action by jumping up on stage to sing Man vs Man. The next day our promoter Miguel took us to climb some pyramids then we were off to the airport to head down to Chile. The turnout in Chile was even better than Mexico City as over 500 showed up for our first show in that country. The show reminded us of some of our best shows in Europe! The people were great and everybody wanted to hear all of the new songs from “Our Darkest Days” seemingly more than anything else. Tomorrow we get on a plane in the morning and head over to Buenos Aires….good times ahead. See you soon.

We are very sad to announce that our upcoming European tour from Feb 15- March 10 is going to be postponed. Our singer Zoli Teglas will be undergoing a series of tests on his stomach at that time which will followed by surgery. Obviously the health of Zoli takes precedent over any show that we have booked. As soon as we have any news on when the European dates will be re-scheduled we will post them on our website and myspace immediately.

Pennywise Tour finishes in NYC

We wrapped up the Pennywise/Circle Jerks/IgniteÂ Tour last week in New York City at Irving Plaza. What a great night and an amazing tour in general. It was really good to be back out on the road with PW and really cool to get to see the Circle Jerks playÂ every night. Thanks a ton to PW for the great tour!!! Some of the highlights were; Pennywise calling Zoli up on stage with them a few nights of the tour to sing the Misfits “Astro Zombies”, Lou from Sick Of It All joining Zoli on stage in NJ, Asbury Park at the Stone Pony for the Misfits cover song during PW set, Vinnie StigmaÂ playing guitarÂ with usÂ on stage for “A Place Called Home” in New York City, Mark from SNFU and Jay from Bad Religion coming out to the Vancouver show at the Commodore, almost hitting a moose as we drove from Winnipeg to Guelph up and over the Great Lakes, picking the worst night to play Brooklyn during the Mets game 7 of the playoffs, playing El Corazon club in Seattle for a true old school type show, then hanging with Pettibone from Himsa, Dave “Brownsound” Baksh (Sum 41, Brown Brigade)Â playing “Bro Hymn” with PW at the Quebec show, on, and on….

So, we are just about to announce some great tours coming up in Dec, Jan, Feb and March. We are going to be shooting the video for “My Judgement Day” during the month of November so it looks like we are going to be waiting until after the New Year to play locally….dont worry, the shows are going to be legendary. Zoli & Mike Teglas Need Your Help!

As many of you know one of my favorite organizations in the entire world is the Mercer Veterinary Clinic for the Homeless in Sacramento, CA. I have been volunteering there as a veterinarian for about 6 years now. The Mercer Clinic provides veterinary care for the pets of the homeless in the Sacramento area free of charge. Unfortunately the Mercer clinic only operates on a monthly basis and for the rest of the month my friend Anneke Vos basically takes care of everything else. You Mercer folks know Anneke, but for those of you that donâ€št she is an 82 year old woman with a heart of gold that really cares deeply for the people on the bottom rung of the ladder and especially for their animals. This summer she spent a day in 100 degree weather searching for a homeless man with a limping old, dog named Lily so that she could take Lily to have her knee repaired. All of this, while she suffered from a healing punctured lung. I kid you not, this lady is the real deal and did I mention she is 82…

Anneke has been nominated for Animal Planet’s “Hero of the Year” award and has made it to the final ten participants. I donâ€št know how these things work but if she gets the most votes she will receive $10,000 from the show. I know that if she gets the prize, every penny of the 10 grand will be spent helping the pets of the homeless; on things like paying for veterinary care for dogs hit by cars or infected with parvo virus, or finding a good home for an animal whoâ€šs owner was put in jail (the #1 source of mental health care for the poor in CA). If she was not there many of these people would wait 2 or more weeks before their animals could be seen by a veterinarian at the Mercer Clinic. The money would go a long way to help these animals.

Strike Anywhere Tour over, Pennywise tour next!

We just finished an amazing tour with Strike Anywhere which hit up the northeast and Canada. All of the bands on the tour including A Global Threat and Modern Life Is War were all awesome guys. We had a blast over the last 3 weeks. Hardkern.de: 6 years have been passed since your last release. What took you so long?

Over the past 5-6 years we have been touring, more touring, songwriting and recording. Three years touring on the last album, then one year off, six months making demos and finding a new label, then a year writing and touring on the new material (new places like Brazil and Australia and of course Europe festivals in the summer). That was followed in early 2005 with pre-production and three months recording the cd with Cameron Webb and finally three months of set-up time for the label to properly market the cd worldwide. Yes….that takes us from June 2000 to May 2006 in one paragraph. Time goes fast!!!

Hardkern.de: It was the same with your further releases. Don`t you think your fans become fed up with such long waiting periods?

I think that our fans would have been really pissed if we would have put out a crappy cd. I think it was better for us to wait and do it right.

Hardkern.de: The title of your new CD is “Our darkest days”. Did you have such a bad time during the last years?

As for the title, these are dark times that we are living in. All of the political strife in the middle east. All of the problems we are having in the U.S. with our government. There are also a numbers of personal struggles that actually gave us the bulk of the influence for this album title. The album title is very relevant to current events for the band and the world. We slowly started working on the songs in 2001 but most of the work was done in 2005.

Pennywise and Strike Anywhere Tours!!!

BBC: The Lock Up Sessions- London, UK

On Thursday we walked into the legendary Maida Vale studios in London toÂ do a “live” recording ofÂ four songs for the Radio1 show called “The Lock Up Sessions”. It was a really cool experience being that just about every big band in the world has done sessions there (Led Zeppelin, Beatles, Bowie, Joy Division, U2, Coldplay, etc…). We recorded three songs for the radio show: “Let It Burn”, “Veteran” and “My Judgement Day” and one song for the website “Slowdown”. We will be posting all of the info when the show is going to air and stream online. Thanks to our great engineer Miti, who has been recording and producing bands at the BBC studios for over 30 years, for making the session so memorable.

UK shows are underway!

Six shows in the UK and a special BBC recording is what we have planned during this stay in the England. The UK shows started in Sheffield on Saturday with punk legends GBH and Subhumans. The same lineup played Sunday in London as well at the club called Mean Fiddler (pics from the right are from the London show) forÂ the second dayÂ of the City Invasion Tour. After London we headed up for a great gig in a small packed club in Peterborough. Last night was Newcastle, thanks to all of the Scotsmen(and women) who made the drive from Scotland down to the show. Tonite is Bournemouth at the Opera House. More UK updates coming soon.

Dour Festival, Belgium

Friday we were in Belgium at the amazingÂ four day long Dour Festival. The fest is a big mix of all kinds of music. Luckily that day we teamed up with Soulfly, Flogging Molly, Kill Your Idols and a few more heavy bands that brought in a lot of Ignite fans to the fest. It was one of the best festival shows of theÂ tour for sure. We played Dour in 2001 on an open air stage during the pouring rain and although it was a good show 5 years ago the great weather that we got on Friday helped make this dayÂ even moreÂ memorable.

Ignite’s Bleeding Video Goes Online!

“Bleeding” is the first video from Ignite’s new album Our Darkest Days just released on Abacus Recordings. Ignite who have been crafting some of the most definitive melodic west coast hardcore over the past decade and also known for their no holds barred social and politically engaging lyrics. This song and video is no different as the subject deals with the Iraq occupation by the U.S. As bassist Brett Rasmussen explains, it is about “the lies our Government told us to get us into a war without taking the rest of the world’s consideration into it.” Vocalist Zoli Teglas who wrote the lyrics has a younger brother currently stationed in Iraq where as he explains “he is forced to risk his life driving Halliburton execs to meetings that benefit the politicians and not the people.”

The performance footage of the video was shot in the blistering California Desert where the band attacked their instruments. Interspersed with news footage of the war and intense images, the message is driven home by director Chris Sims (Lamb Of God, As I Lay Dying).

Our Darkest Days has been racking up critical and fan success as the best Ignite album. “The album’s strength lies not only in its strong musical qualities but also its socially conscious and challenging lyrics” says PunkBands.com which goes on to call it “The best album so far in 2006.” Popular website for heavy music Lambgoat.com calls the band “one of the only remaining hardcore bands from the mid 90’s that have never compromised their beliefs or their music.”

Ignite are currently killing all with their appearances at huge European fests including Full Force which had 10,000 people singing along with Zoli as well as Hellfest France, Graspop and Pressure Fest. The band is also doing European tour dates with With Honor and Convict. The band will be back stateside for late August and will be playing with the legendary Gorilla Biscuits for their reunion tour on Aug 21st at The Glasshouse w/ Comeback Kid.

Powerfest, Holland

YesterdayÂ we headlined theÂ Powerfest in Tilburg, Holland. We playedÂ with a ton of great bands like: Evergreen Terrace, Leeway, Darkest Hour, Damnation AD, FVK/Cro-Mags, Most Precious BloodÂ and Shelter. 1300 people showed up to the 013 club and the “Fest” took place on 3 different stages within the club. We played this club in 2000 on the Unity Tour and 013 has to be one of the best clubs in Europe. Thanks to all the staff for making yesterday such a great day and also to all of the Dutch Ignite fans that came out to supportÂ us.

Amazing Day at With Full Force Festival!

Yesterday we headlined the tent stage at the With Full Force Festival in Roitschjora, Germany. Great show, probably the best show so far this tour. Thousands of people packed themselves into the tent area as we played a hour set starting at 8pm last night. What a great show, the new cd is doing great over here as well. The new songs are definitely becoming the favorites of the show, songs like Slowdown, Let It Burn and Bleeding have as many people singing along asÂ our road tested favorites from the past. Thanks again!

Berlin

Last night was the sixth time that we have played the legendary club in Berlin called SO36. Berlin is definitely always a highlight city on tour for us. It is home to our booking agency M.A.D. Tourbooking and we also have a ton of friends who came out last night to see us. Thanks as always to all of the Ignite fans who packed the club for us again, especially with so many otherÂ concerts in town last night. We are getting ready for the With Full Force Festival this weekend….Cheers!

Graspop Metal Meeting Festival

Yesterday we were in Belgium at the Graspop Metal Meeting Festival. The festival was huge this year with Guns N Roses, Motorhead andÂ Soulfly as the top billed acts. We played along with Agnostic Front andÂ As I Lay Dying in the tent stage which worked out pretty good as the rain came down in sheets all afternoon. The stage in the tent was huge and gave us plenty of room to run around. We powered through 18 songs and left the stage with the crowd going nuts. Thanks to everyone who came out to see us at this metal-dominated line-up.

Pressure Fest: Herne, Germany

Last night was the Pressure Festival in Herne, Germany with a bunch of great bands like Set Your Goals, Evergreen Terrace, Leeway and our long time friends MADBALL. Busy day yesterday, lots of interviews and hanging with the people from Century Media. Today, we are at the Graspop Metal Meeting. We go on stage in a few hours and are backstage right now hanging with our friends from Agnostic Front andÂ First Blood. More updates and photos soon.

Hellfest: Clisson, France

Friday was a great show in Clisson, France at Hellfest (formerly known as Furyfest). We played inbetween StoneSour and Alice and Chains, then later Soulfly closed out the night. It was our first time back to place a festival in France in almost 2 years. Great supprt from all of our French fans…thanks!!!Â

Europe off to great start!

The European tour is underway and off to a great start. We are in Durnago, Spain today after a couple of shows in Germany and yesterday in Nevers, France (pictured right). Saturday’s show in Trier , Germany was a festival called Summer Blast Festival and weÂ gpt to playÂ with some longtime friends in the band Damnation AD as well as U.S. labelmates Caliban.
